7 Words of Virgin Mary guiding me before upfront Decisions

  • ,,How this can be if I don t know a man”? (Luke 1:34) When Angel Gabriel manifested to the Virgin Mary and said that she will give a birth to the son and will name him Jesus, Mary was confused. However,  She wasn’ t afraid to ask questions. She was willing to fully know and understand God’s will. She was humble and fearful, because she wanted what Lord wanted for her.

Everytime I am fearful or doubt, oh, Mother Mary, let me come in the dialogue with God.               

  • ,,I am the Lord’s Servant, may Your word to me be fulfilled” (Luke 1:38). – she said. She was obedient. She stepped aside from any humanish planning, and said ,,Yes” to His will. Sometimes it is hard to say that firm ,,Yes” because we have our own life plan, understanding, leading solutions… Mary’s obedience was mostly walking unwalked paths, in the darkness, not knowing what’s further… But as He asked Her, she surrendered and was gifted with the Biggest Grace  – Motherhood of the Lord Jesus.

When the new day starts, let me begin: ,,I am the Lord’s Servant, may Your Word to me be fulfilled”.

  • ,,Mary entered Zechariah’s home and greeted Elizabeth“ (Luke 1:40) Two women were sharing fulfilling joy about what good the Lord has done to them (not what bad people have done to them) Sharing joy in Holy Spirit makes the meeting meaningful and uplifting. The gift of sharing is universal.

Everytime I enter new home, new encounter I want to be like Mary and Elizabeth – share the joy about what good the Lord has done to me (not what bad  people have done to me)

  • And Mary joyfully said,
    “My soul magnifies the Lord,
    and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior,
    for God has looked with favor on the lowliness of the Almighty’s servant.
    Surely, from now on all generations will call me blessed;
    for the Mighty One has done great things for me,
    and holy is God’s name.
    God’s mercy is for those who fear God
    from generation to generation.
    God has shown strength with God’s arm;
    God has scattered the proud in the thoughts of their hearts.
    God has brought down the powerful from their thrones,
    and lifted up the lowly;
    God has filled the hungry with good things,
    and sent the rich away empty.
    God has helped servant Israel,
    in remembrance of God’s mercy,
    according to the promise God made to our ancestors,
    to Abraham and to his descendants forever.  (Luke 1:46-55)

How grateful  Mary is , how grateful  we can be, for each of ours gifts and blessings – there s so much words unspoken! The modest Lord’s Servant Mary is giving the example.

Let me often praise You, Lord, with Magnificat, just like Mary did!

  • “When his parents saw him, they were astonished. His mother said to him, “Son, why have you treated us like this!? Your father and I have been anxiously searching for you.”  (Luke 2:48) Those are the most sorrowful words of Mary. Mary feels pain because the Son, the Saviour given to Her suddenly dissapeared. Mary kept the answer of the Son Jesus silently in Her heart and was quietly considering.

Whenever I am tempted to surrender in pain, give me, Mother Mary, wisdom to know that for everything is divine timing and I will be given understanding and support.

  • ,,They have no wine” (John 2:3) – said Mary in a wedding ceremony in Cannes when all  the wine was gone. She was the first to notice the lack then,  she does the same in my life now – sees the lack and tells Her Son, that I would be supported. Wine is the symbol of Love. She cares about this most important supply, she is concerned I would always have it.

Everytime I don t have Wine of Love, oh, Mother  Mary, tell Your Son to fill me with It.

  • “Do whatever he tells you,”(John 2:5) – she told the servants in the wedding. She was obedient till the end. She was the first Follower and Apostle of Jesus. She knew that there is a meaning in everything her son is doing. Mary’s life from the very beginning was different, exceptional. She is a model proving Lord’s miracles through a complete trust and obedience. Those last Mary’s words is the Testament to all of us: to do, what He [Jesus] is telling us. She paved for us the path of Love, Holiness and Peace, pointing out to Her Son, our Saviour.

Everytime I am tempted to feel angry, disappointed, lost and abandoned, I ll ask her for hope. Come, oh, Mother Mary, give me to hold Your Son. Let me be as loving, peaceful, calm and trusting as You are.


Humble Journey through Advent with Novenas

    Such attitude doesn’t cause neither hysteria nor fear about the future, as it states, it is more perfect than the presence. Still,  the reminder of the Last Judgement day encourages to  re-evaulate the values, make  a decission  and take a wise action. Jesus Christ in multiple comparisons said The Gospel about the New World as already existing and yet  coming Reality.

     How about my life? What is my reality? Do I ever just stop for a moment and think that this presesence is the Hope, in which lies the the future of all mankind? What is my input in it? Am I conscious enough to admit that I consume too much, work too much, rush too much? And too little pray, repent, forgive?

    Revelation 3:20, NIV: “Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.”

    Let‘ s be on duty. Coming Lord is yearning to come in our hearts, in our lives. How can we acknowledge him coming  if we are rushing, arguing, constantly consuming? There is so much pain around, world is tired…

Lazy Eggplants

Those tasty eggplants! (And You don t need to be a super cook). Except to know how to add additional love in preparing them :). So… what are You waiting for?

You will need:



Yellow cheese

Garlic cloves

A little bit of oil for roasting

Soya sauce

Salt and spices

Basil leaves

Some cooks  the sliced eggplants salt, leave for few min and let some water to go out on their surface.  The water then is removed with a paper towel so later, when fried, they don’ t get too  oily. I do not necessarily do that (if I don’ t have time) and they still turn out good and tasty. Spices are of great importance! Also soya sauce and garlic.

My eggplants are already sliced. I am roasting them a bit in a pan with little oil.

The oven is heating already. I put the roasted, sliced eggplants on a baking paper in a tray (we can add some soya sauce and chopped garlic as well).

Lets add  some sliced tomatoes.

Mmmmm… already grabbing attention. But we need to go on with the process with some salt and the mixture Your favourite spices on top.  Lets put in an oven.

After few min I add some vegan (or You can use regular if You want) cheese and bake them till they are all nicely melted with it.

3 min. more and eggplants are done! I love to put  few basil leaves on top  before putting in a plate.

Crunchy Vegan Protein Salads With Pores

Promising October morning. I still have summer garden tomatoes and crunchy pores. I have an idea! I will make something tasty, I have already tried several times – crunchy vegan protein salads :).

For a bowl of salads You will need:

1 tomatoe (or several small);

1 cup of boiled or canned beans;

Vegan mayonese

Salt and pepper to taste;

Pores to make Your salads green and cruncy.

In a wider bowl add beans, tomatoes cut in pieces, sliced pores rings. Add some more salt and petter and stir all well with mayonese.

Enjoy Your day, make it filling and fulfilling!

Summer Berries SPLASH! (or Give Me a Smoothie :P)

Summer Berries SPLASH! 🙂 You can make it!

For one full glass of smoothie You need:

1 handful of raspberries

1 handful of blackberries

1 banana

1 glass of vegan natural yoghurt (or diary yoghurt if You prefer)

1/3 of teaspoon of cinnamon

Shake all ingredients in the blender. It s a very smooth and delicate taste, very refreshing and filling! 😉

RASPBERRIES are  a good source of antioxidants and fiber. One cup of raspberries contains 8 grams of fiber. It is  recommend that adults should consume between 22,4 g and 33,6 g of fiber a day, depending on their age and sex.

BLACKBERRIES contain a high level of vitamin C. One serving of 100 grams (g) contains 35 percent of an individual’s recommended daily allowance (RDA) of vitamin C. These berries are a delicious addition to any diet. They are also packed with essential nutrients and antioxidants.  They are excellent source of vitamins A, C, K.

Both raspberries and blackberries impressively positively affect the work of brains, so if You want to be positive , youthful, and brightly and clearly thinking eat handfuls! handfuls! of raspberries and blackberries and drink smoothies! 😉

Exclusive Vegan Summer Berries’ Pie

Summer is too short not to take the most of it! Sea, Sand, Enticing Leisure can become even more full of colors and tastes with this wonderful vegan summer berries’ pie! 🙂

For the exclusive pie You will need:

1/2 cup of coconut oil

1/3 cup of coconut palm sugar or brown sugar with stevia

A little bit of vanilla

1/2 tea spoon of cinnamon

1 ½ tea spoon of baking powder

2 table spoon of water

1 tea spoon of baking soda

3/4 cup of plant based milk

1/2 of spelt flavor

1 cup of summer berries You find in Your garden (black and red currants, gooseberries, blackberries, raspberries) (best would be a mix of sweet and more sour berries)

  1. Mix the sugar with cinnamon and vanilla, pour and mix in oil. Baking powder mix with water, add in a batter, then mix in baking soda.
  2. Gently pour in milk and start adding flavor, stirring with a wooden spoon. Add berries, mix all ingredients well.
  3. Take a baking form, cover it with a little bit of oil. Pour in the batter. with berries
  4. Heat the oven till 180 celsius of heat and add the pie to bake. Bake for about 35-40 min. You will be surprised what a big, soft and well baked pie You take out!

Mmmmmmmmm… Can’t wait to take my bite! 🙂

Having fun with friends and enjoying some lazy days sunbathing and sipping cocktails we all can do. But how about some healthy action? How about jogging  few rounds from one beach umbrella to another or in between beach lifeguard towers? Or maybe You would like to meet the sun in  the morning with some nice toning exercises or few rounds of even more intensive work out?

Either way You choose, it’s cool! You already are the winner as You choose to stay strong and motivated. You also gain plenty of benefits of working out in the sand. Are You ready to hear them?

Why not to add more color in Your plate? First  of all fresh veggies and more color look nicely and stimulate apetite just right before starting to eat Your meal. Tasty Life Bites: Hello, King Avocado!

Take Your bite. Bread, avocado slice and sun dried tomatoes with  basil on top. Mmmm. Take it joyfully! And feel the taste of life… 🙂

Never too late to make the right option. It is important You take it. When it comes to make the choice for a healthy snack, I choose avocado. I peel it off and enjoy the promising green color and start my day! I make small slices and put them on a nicely roasted bread. I find my sun dried tomatoes and chop them nicely into little pieces to cover the top of my sandwiches. I find exact amount. I put some salt and fresh basil leaves on top. I put all in a nice plate. My morning is off to a great start!

So simple, yet tasty and boosting my energy! I make more sandwiches so I can share with my beloved if He… unexpectedly comes in the kitchen!
